Hydraulic and Industrial Hoses: Components and Professional Hose Assembly
The Flexible Circulation of the Hydraulic System
Hoses are the "veins" of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. These flexible lines transport energy-carrying fluids or gases from the pump through control elements to the cylinders. Quality here is not a matter of compromise: a poor-quality hose or a poorly crimped fitting can cause not only oil leaks but also safety hazards and costly machine downtime.
The "Hoses" category at Hidraulika Store offers a dual solution:
-
Parts Sales: We offer thousands of types of hoses, fittings, and ferrules for those who perform repairs or manufacturing themselves.
-
Service: In our on-site workshop, we undertake the immediate, professional manufacturing of hoses.
Hose Assembly: Immediate On-Site Solution
We know that if a machine is stopped due to a broken hose, it costs money. That's why we don't just sell parts; we provide a complete service. In our shop, using professional crimping machines, our expert colleagues undertake the precision assembly of hydraulic and industrial hoses. Bring us the sample or provide the exact parameters (length, diameter, fitting types, pressure rating), and we will make the new hose while you wait. Learn more about the process and our capacities on our Hose Assembly Service page!
Hydraulic Hoses: For High-Pressure Transmission
Our hoses offered for hydraulic systems meet the strictest international standards (EN, DIN, SAE).
-
Steel Wire Reinforced Hoses: The most common types (1SN, 2SN, 4SP, 4SH). 1, 2, or 4 layers of steel mesh embedded between rubber layers ensure that the hose withstands pressures of up to 3-400 bar and shock loads.
-
Textile Reinforced and Thermoplastic Hoses: For lower pressures, control circuits, or special needs (e.g., electrical insulation).
-
Teflon Hoses (PTFE): For places requiring extreme heat resistance (up to +260°C) and chemical resistance (e.g., compressors, chemical industry).
Hose Fittings and Ferrules: The Perfect Fit
The soul of hose manufacturing is selecting the right fitting and professional crimping. Our selection includes nearly 1000 types of hose fittings, covering DKOL, DKOS, BSP, JIC, ORFS, and other standards. "Banjo" fittings (RNM) are particularly popular, allowing for compact, bolt-secured connections even in tight spaces. One of our best-selling products is the Hose Fitting - Banjo (RNM) - DN06 - dM14, which is excellent for assembling return lines and lower-pressure circuits. Essential for securing fittings are ferrules (crimp sleeves), of which we stock both skive and no-skive versions.
Industrial Hoses and Protection
Beyond hydraulics, we offer solutions for numerous industrial applications:
-
Industrial Hoses: Air hoses for pneumatics, water hoses, wash hoses for high-pressure washers, as well as oil and fuel hoses.
-
Hose Protection: The lifespan of hoses can be drastically increased by plastic or metal guard spirals, which protect the outer rubber layer from abrasion and mechanical damage.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How long does it take to make a hydraulic hose? In our service center, hose manufacturing is done while you wait. Making an average hose—from identifying the sample to cutting to size and crimping—usually takes 10-15 minutes, depending on the workshop's workload.
-
What is the difference between 1SN and 2SN hoses? The designation indicates the number of steel reinforcement layers. An 1SN hose has one layer of steel mesh, while a 2SN hose has two. Therefore, 2SN hoses can withstand higher pressures but are slightly stiffer.
-
Can a damaged hydraulic hose be repaired? Splicing or repairing the rubber part of the hose is FORBIDDEN and dangerous! If the hose is cracked or leaking, it must be replaced with a new one in every case. The fitting ends (if undamaged) could theoretically be reused in some cases, but for safety, we recommend using new fittings.
